Trump As a Pig

Before I went out and decided to get sick, my wife and I were driving towards the Westside for a COVID test. As we were approaching downtown, on Boarder Highway, we noticed that someone had decided to paint over the President Donald Trump Pig.

Another part that was painted out was that of Baby Trump.

I have a question for the asshats in the back and the Republican Party in general. When people in your own party wereburning, hanging, and doing all kinds of unspeakable things to President Barak Obama in effigy, you were silent. Why?

I guess if Obama were white skinned and part of the Republican Party you would be all riled up and demanding justice. Right?

The Party of Law and Order has become a party of cowardice. The Republican Party has become the party of thin skinned, asshats who cannot see beyond their own hypocrisy.

I will share this photo of President Donald Trump as a pig far and wide. In my opinion, he is just that, a pig.

It has become my firm belief that no matter what we do, we cannot fix this system. The United States was never designed to be a two-party system.

The drafters of the U.S. Constitution did not envision political parties. But as voting rights broadened and the nation expanded westward, political parties emerged. Two major parties-Democrats and Whigs-became firmly established and powerful by the 1830s. Today, the Republican and Democratic parties dominate the political process-both of them heirs to predecessor parties from the 18th and 19th centuries. With rare exceptions, members of the two major parties control the presidency, the Congress, the governorships, and the state legislatures.

Rarely do any of the 50 states elect a governor who is not a Democrat or a Republican. And the number of independent or third-party members of Congress or of state legislatures is extremely low.

Why aren’t there more small parties? Many political experts point to America’s first past the post” elections, in which the candidate with the most votes win, even if they receive less than most of the votes cast. In countries that instead award legislative seats based on the proportion of votes a given party receives, there is more incentive for small parties to form and compete. In the U.S. system, a party can win a seat only if its candidate gets the most votes. That makes it difficult for small political parties to win elections.

It is time to end the two-party system. It’s also time to make politics more accessible for people of color, people who don’t make millions of dollars a year, people who have lived life and not in some ivory tower.

As neither Republican or Democrat can play fair, work on both sides of the aisle and actually work for the benefit of the everyman and not the rich, it’s time to scrap this system and begin afresh.

The tree of liberty… (Quotation)

In a 1787 letter to William Stephens Smith, the son-in-law of John Adams, Thomas Jefferson used the phrase “tree of liberty”: I do not know whether it is to yourself or Mr. Adams I am to give my thanks for the copy of the new constitution.

When Will the Contented Classes Rise Up in Rebellion?

When will the people who recognize just how bad things have become for the most vulnerable-and the nation at large-unfurl the flag of rebellion against the plutocrats and the autocrats?.. For all the rhetoric and all the charities regarding America’s children, the U.S.
